Our special guest today grew up in a small town in Southern CA with humble beginnings.
After graduating high school, she decided to join the Navy. Her first duty station was NAS Whidbey Island, WA, where she met and then married her husband. As a Veteran herself, she supported, understood, and encouraged her husband's 20-year career. While building her career, they did five deployments; they are thankful that he retired four years ago.
She currently works as a Loan officer; throughout her career, she has made her mission to streamline the loan process and ensure a unique and personal experience for every client. She specializes in VA loans, being a veteran herself, and in Construction loans, where she gets to help clients build their dream home. She is a great communicator who is committed to actualizing her clients' goals, no matter how complicated.
She started as a bank teller in 2005, served in various roles in banking from audit/compliance to Merchant Services to Asst. Manager, Branch Manager and finally landing as a Mortgage Loan Officer in 2016.
She has a passion for financial fitness, and she is so thankful to the many mentors she has had that ultimately developed her career path to where it is today. She has been employed since she was 14, with a workers' permit. She has worked for 21 companies in her life and has never been fired, never given less than a two-week notice, and can check eligible for re-hire with every company.
As a Rotarian, she is proud to serve her community when called into action, and she is a Paul Harris Fellow.
In 2014 she co-founded a non-profit scholarship program for young women in her community, and in four years of producing the program, they delivered over $42,000 to local high school girls. Sadly, this program ended with her relocation to Oregon, but it is in the highlight reel.
Giving back to her community and especially young women, is something that she has always felt called to do.
When she is not fulfilling her duties as Mortgage Loan Officer, she enjoys camping with her family, including three rambunctious boys and a malamute named Pepper. She is also an avid runner & baker.
