Today, our featured guest, a resident of the Bay Area, San Jose, California, is a motivational speaker that serves as an inspirational leader in higher education.

She earned her master’s degree from the University of San Francisco (USF) in Public Administration and her Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in African American Studies from San Jose State University.

She has used her college education and life experience to express her thoughts through poetry and motivational speaking to connect with others.

While surviving in the foster-care system, she learned to become an advocate for herself and others.

Now, she uses her voice and skillset to empower those who have faced adversities and personal challenges. Her natural passion for speaking and engaging with others comes from her faith and understanding her purpose.

After being invited to speak more than ten years ago, she has dedicated herself to empowering others, whether as a keynote speaker or a workshop presenter, or poet. Her charisma and authenticity strongly connect with audiences.
